October 29th

We have heard it said that “hindsight is 20/20.” Wouldn’t it be great if foresight was 20/20? If we could only know what lies ahead, we would make our decisions today based on what we know is ahead.

Here’s the good news; Our Loving Father does know what is ahead.

In God’s graciousness to the children of Israel He said, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:12).

Jesus said, in John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

The Aramaic (the language Jesus spoke) word for prayer means to set your mind like a trap to capture the thoughts of God.

Father wants to speak to us, let’s determine to listen.
