Jesus then “gives” us. He gives us to a family, a local body of believers, to our neighbors, to our fellow
workers; He gives us to people who need us.
2nd Corinthians 5:18 in the NLT says, “And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself
through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.”
We become conduits of the Holy Spirit to restore others, to bring the Gospel to others, to pray for
others. We are vessels by which the Holy Spirit brings the divine “life” of God to others.
