A large percentage of our congregation is involved or has been involved in UWYCC. We consider it a great blessing to be apart of this ministry. Generations have now passed through this camp and it is a continuing testament to God's goodness. Visit their website for more info! 

The Bancroft Mission Praise Team started in 2007 as a youth ministry. Several members began playing Praise and Worship music for a youth service held in the parsonage owned by the church known as The Potter's House. Jim Legg became pastor in 2009 and felt led to merge the Praise Team into the main sanctuary. The Praise Team now leads worship every Sunday morning and are a cornerstone of the church's outreach.

We are blessed with an excellent food pantry just down the road in Poca. Poca United Methodist Church runs the Five Loaves Two Fish food pantry at 112 Silver Street.  They serve approximately 180 families monthly. They give food, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products. Visit their website or Facebook page for more information. 

The Birdhouse is BMC's teen group meet up/hang out spot. We are located in the annex directly beside the church.

The name "Birdhouse" was derived from Donald "Catbird" McNeil, whose home was once at the site of the current birdhouse. Catbird served as a deacon at BMC for many years and owned the nearby Shell gas station. When BMC renovated Catbird's donated home as the original Teen Learning Facility, it was only fitting to name it after him.

The Birdhouse crew meets weekly every Wednesday at 7:07pm sharp. They are lead by Adam and Allison Sigman, with the help of Shawn and Angie Arthur, and Tyler and Morgan Hart.

On average, 20-25 teens meet weekly to learn more about Jesus on a level that they can understand, surrounded by people they can relate to. Each week the number of teens grows, and the Birdhouse is forever thankful of that!

The Birdhouse hosts several events to encourage fellowship outside of church walls, being a servant of Christ, and putting your faith into action. The Birdhouse is open to any teen in the 6th-12th grade age range! Join us every Wednesday at 7:07pm!

Kairos Inside is a ministry whose mission is to develop a Christian community inside prisons.
The Kairos Inside program brings positive and negative leaders together, in both male and female institutions, for a 3 ½ day Weekend led by same gender Kairos volunteers.
The Weekend is based on:

• A series of talks,
• Discussions,
• Chapel meditations, and
• Creating a Christian community.

For many participants, the Kairos Weekend creates the desire to become a Christian, and for others the desire to continue his/her spiritual growth.
