Welcome
Bancroft Mission is a non-denominational church full of welcoming people. We believe family to be the Heart of God and we strive to provide a family environment. There are no membership lists or qualifications needed to be part of us. As soon as you walk in the door, consider yourself a member of our family.
What to Expect
Our members are a mix of all ages. People tend to wear their Sunday best, but we don't have a dress code. You're likely to see an Elder in a suit and tie and a Deacon in shorts and a T-Shirt. Ladies wear a mix of dresses, skirts, shorts, and pants. As long as you are dressed respectfully, you are welcome as you are.
A large portion of our people start with Sunday School and stay for the entire service, including Morning Worship. We do have several who only attend one or the other, which is no problem with us. A typical Sunday service will end around noon.
Below you will see a basic guideline for what to expect for each service. Keep in mind that we prioritize obedience to The Lord and freedom in a service, so these may change from service to service. The altar is always open if you ever need some prayer. You won't be alone. Many people will be happy to pray with you.
Sunday School
9:45am

The service starts in the sanctuary and we disperse to our classes from there. We have a Sunday School class for every age group from Pre-school and up. The classes have curriculum based on their ages. High School and below use the Answers in Genesis program. The older classes use a curriculum created by our pastor, Jim Legg. See the link below for the current curriculum.
