Tony Craigo - Youth Cyberviolence and Cyberbullying
In a world where our children are more connected than ever before, the digital landscape has become a mission field of its own. This presentation takes us deep into the reality of cyber violence and cyberbullying, not merely as a law enforcement concern, but as a spiritual and communal responsibility.
We are reminded that the church has historically been one of the first places families turn when crisis strikes, and that calling has not changed simply because the crisis now happens on a screen. The message is clear: truth spoken with love is still the most powerful intervention available to us.
When we think about the biblical call to encourage and uplift one another, we are challenged to ask whether our online behavior reflects that standard, and whether we are equipping the young people around us to hold that same standard in their digital lives. The parallels between in-person abuse and online abuse are striking, and they remind us that the human heart, left without guidance and grounded truth, will find new tools to express old wounds.
Our role as a community of faith is to be the voice that speaks into those wounds before they deepen.
